Birth, Death and rebirth are inevitable, says Gita.
" Jathasyahi dhruvO mruthyuhu,
DhruvO Janma Mruthasyacha "
Once born, has to die some day or the other. This is an Inevitable principle of Life.
But, is there any particular time and mode, in which if a Jeevi departs, can avoid the rebirth?
This time of Departure has a great role in our " theory of Punarjanma ".
In Aksharaparabrahma Yoga, 24th,&25th slokas explain us in detail about the favourable time of departure for a yogi. Departing the body is as important as acquiring the body.
Departing time decides the abode whereas acquiring time decides ur entire Life.
Here, even the mode of death is also plays important role in ur attainment and rebirth, that is
Explained in these two slokas.
Agni JyOthi rahaha suklaha shaNmAsa uttarAyaNam
Thathra prayAthA gachchanthi Brahma brahmhavidO janAha
Fire, flame, day time, the bright half of a month, and six months of Sun's northern course---
Departing in one of these modes, and anyone of these times, the yogi attains Brahman.
Dhumo rAthri Sthadha krishNaha shaNmAsa DakshiNayaNam
Thathra chAndramasam jyOthiryOgi prApya nivarthathE
Smoke, night, the dark half of the month and the six months of the Sun's southern passage---
Departing by one of these modes, and anyone of these times, the yogi attains the lunar sphere
And returns back to earth.
These two paths of the world, the bright and the dark are considered to be ancient
and eternal.
"UjjannEvam sadathmAnAm yogi vigatha kalmashaha
SukhEna Brahma Samsparsham AtmAnam sukhamasnuthe."
Yogi, who is always in contemplation, taintless, blissful and knowing this secret of time
of departure, should think about departing in bright time, and bright path.
There is one standing example of Bhishma pithamaha's death, in Mahabharath.
Bhishma, the great grand father, who remained a life time bachelor for the sake of Kuruvamsh, was killed by Arjuna in the Kurukshethra war,in wrong time, ie Sun's southern passage. But, the grand old seer, Bhishma knows the sacred secret of this departing time.
Bhishma was a Brahma GnAni. He can have" IchchamaraNa",he can leave his body whenever
he wants to. So, he asked Arjuna to make a cot with arrows, and laid on that till UttarayaNa puNyakal entered. When Sun's northern course entered, Bhishma left his body and attained
the supreme abode. Bhishma attained Moksha.
Atma aliening with Paramatma depends on the time and mode of departing the body.
May be the Jeeva, which is the sole entity, which sustains the entire universe along with entire living bodies is very powerful in Sun's northern course and first half of the month. So powerful
that, an embodied self can escape the lunar sphere and reach the heavenly spheres.
Similarly, brighter side of the day , fire, and, light elevate the embodied self to higher Devine levels.
Sometimes, all these concepts of Gita appear to me as pure Metaphysics, pure science rather
than spiritual guide lines. Doctrines of Bhagavadgita are higher level scientific principles, which are guiding and guarding the universe.,maintaining the rhythm of the entire creation.
THOUGH I READ GITA HUDREDS OF TIMES, STILL, WHENEVER I READ, I FEEL SOMETHING
NEW IN IT AND YET I FEEL, A LOT HIDDEN UNKOWN SECRETS LEFT IN IT.
THE SPECIALITY OF Gita is, the more u churn, the more butter u get off it.
Om that sath
