Greatness of Bhagavadgita

Bhagavadgita speaks about Brahma Vidya and Brahma gnanam.
Bhagavan vedavyasa's  brahmasutras also speak about Brahma ,characteristics of Brahma and the uses of Brahma gnanam and also they teach how to attain the Brahma nirvana I.e the Self Realisation

Vedas preach different ritual's practices  to fulfill different wishes by praying various dieties. Vedas explain many more methods of attaining the supreme knowledge of the almighty.
Upanishads , which are the quintessence of Vedas speak and preach different means of ritual practices  in order to get grants from the different divine entities .All these three epics : brahmasutras, Vedas, Upanishads speak about the same thing I.e the supreme divine power(Almighty) .But , what all explained in these three epics is compressed and condensed in a single brahmopanishad called Bhagavadgita Gita .this is mentioned in the last sloka of akshara Brahma yoga in Gita as given below

" vedheshu yagneshu thapassu cheyva dhaneshu yat Punya phalum prathistam
Athyethi tat sarvam Idham vidhitva yogi param stanam upyethi Chadhyam"

Bhagavadgita crystal clearly explains how, the universe originates and what sustains the entire universe  and about Atma tatv and the knowledge of Self and its realization. There is no  confusion of about any concepts,  in the teachings of Bhagavadgita. The confusing discussions  and descriptions about the charactersistics of Brahman or the presence of Brahman in and out of the bodies or the different ways to attain Brahman or the means of attaining Paramatman(paramapurusha, the ultimate goal) are all cleaned, cleared in Bhagavadgita .

The confusing ambiguous doctrines rigidly mentioned in Brahma sutras are all explained in a very simple clean manner in Gita . Actually, these three great epics existed in the times of Mahabharata only .The Time of the three epics is same but the description of the topics is much more clear in Gita than Brahma sutras and Upanishads.  In one word, the total essence of the spiritual knowledge is put in one capsule I.e Bhagavadgita . This is also an Upanishad . Upanishads means a commandment . Commandments describe the doctrines dictatingly. Every doctrine is absolutely true.

When Gita speaks so simple , why to go for other elaborated confusing scriptures. Take one capsule that cleans  the  worldly  taints , without much strain.
Gita saram is , A". Nectar capsule ".

There is no sin left for one after drinking the waters of Gita Ganga which flowed out of the mouth of Maha Vishnu . Bhagavadgita is a mantra , when chanted washes off  all bad KARMICcurrents.

" Eeshawaraha sarva bhutanam hruddesorjuna thistathi"

Gita says that the Supreme being dwells in the hearts of all beings. How ? In which way? It is a statement said in the times of Mahabharata . The time when the discovery of Electricity, and Magnetism, and ELECTRO MAGNETISM  are not out,; but present day we can explain this concept by saying that eshwara  dwells in the heart of living being as a Quantum of charge . As times advance ,certain concepts  are proved theoritically , physically and explained very clearly .

Eeshwara , the all pervading supreme divine entity who creates the universe and sustains and destructs by expansion and contraction is nothing but a giant extraordinary electro magnetic field of enormous energies ,with supreme mind , supreme consiousness and supreme sustaining power Jeeva  hidden from our sight, by a veil called 'maya'.(formed of trigunas .)i.e THE YOGA MAYA”.

The Eeshwara can be described in this way as mentioned  above , in this present world with the help of the science of electricity, magnetism and electro magnetism to certain extent with the help of nuclear physics also. That was Dwaparayuga concepts of spiritual doctrines explained in a concealed manner, sealed strictly.but this is Kali Yuga where sukshma gyanana is proved with Sthula  gnana .

All Adhyayas of Gita prompt very fine ways of the realisation of the truth .The spiritual awakening caused by bathing in Gita Ganga opens the insight and makes one to interpret and realise the divine supreme being .

Sanctify, drinking Geetha Saram
Purify, bathing in Geetha Gangam.

Karma- Brahma

Activity is the sign of Life. Action (karma)gets prompt from the chaitanyam, which is a major disposition of Brahma, residing inside a being. We all aware of a fact that each action ends
with a result, depending upon the nature of the action. Sacred actions result positive charges, where as selfish actions result negative charges. Here, the Karmic currents produced by the actions deside the quality of Karmas, weather they are good or bad.
The way of Action, and it's results are clearly described  in Karmayoga.
Good ,selfless actions yield positive Karmic charges, called Punya. Whereas, bad selfish actions yield negative karmic charges, called Pap.
How our actions help in creating Rains, is mentioned  here in two verses......

                    Annadbhavanthi bhutanii Parjanyadanna-sambhavaha
                     Yagnadbhavanthi Parjanyo Yagnaha Karmasamudbhavaha

                      Karma Brahmodbhavam  viddhi brahmakshara samudbhavam
Thasmathu sarvagatham  Brahma nithyam Yagne prathishtitham

" Parjanya" means rain. Good rain showers help in producing good food grains., healthy food
helps in giving  good beings. Rains originate from sacrifices, and sacrifices result from good
selfless actions. Every action originates from Brahma dwelling inside the body,  in the form  of Chaitanyam. Chaitanyam, the driving force of action is a high  potential charge itself.
Of course, Brahma  originates from AksharaBrahma ( ie.the imperishable entity pervading entire Universe).  Therefore, all actions and their potentialities , coexist with Brahma.,
Here, very interesting aspect is, Karma and Brahma are always connected with each other, and work coherently, causing rains.  How? The PuNya Karmaphal ,ie the result of any sacred action can trigger the rain. That's why, righteous living associated with righteous actions are needed, to restore the ecological cycle. As rightuous actions are the outcome of pure thoughts, one has to guard his  intellect from thought pollution. Conditioning the mind by
Pure thoughts, and  pure behaviour, every individual has to perform PuNya karma ( pure actions). This knowledge of Karma, and results of Karma, is useful not only to one's own self, but to the entire world on the whole.

The greatest of greatest actions is, nothing  but doing services without expectations.
If anybody does any action, sacrificing to "That ", (Almighty)' ,definetly, the results of that action reaps positive charges. This positive currents help in triggering rains, in turn good crops, in turn good life.

As Brahma is the Yagnapurusha, Yagnavahaka, Yagnesa ( driving force, carrier ,and enjoyer
Of action), every action and it's sacrifice connects the self to Brahma alone.
The karmic currents which trigger the rains  are all Brahmic. They act, react always positively, for the welfare of the world.

Sathkarma links that Brahma.
Sathkarma evokes That Atma.
Sath karma restores That Satyam.
This is what "Brahma- Karma samadhinam" .

Arjuna's flag

Flags represent a  perticular country, or  organisation..
A flag speaks silently about  the culture of that country, or that organisation. Flag is called "Dhwaja", or" Pathaka" in sanskrit.  In those times of Mahabharatam, India was an integrated country of many small kingdoms. Matsya, , Drupada,  Magadha, panchala, pandya, gandhara....etc etc many small kingdoms were under the sovereignty of the  kings of  Hastinapura. Dhartarastras were the rulers of Hastinapura. Different kingdoms have different flags of there own. Pandavas carried Kapidhvaja, which has the face of Lord Sri Anjaneya as emblem. This has a symbolic representation of valour and victory of Pondavas.
Sri Anjaneya, who was a great Bhakta of Lord Sri Rama, adorned the flag of Pandavas.

Ramayana happened in Thretha Yuga. Mahabharatam  happend in Dwaperyug.
Therefore, this is very clearly conformed that  Pandavas used to worship Anjaneya ( Hanuman ) with a great devotion. As Anjaneya is an epitom of  strength, vigour, intelligence, and  victory, Arjuna  carriedin his flag,  the emblem of Anjaneya , to bless him with victory in all fights of wars.
Wherever is Rama, there ever is Hanuma.,vise versa. So,The Kapidhwaja brings the blessings of the (great archer too )Lord Sri Rama. Arjuna was a great Archer of those times, whom non can dare to defeat..
Though, Pandavas had Hanuman's emblem on there flag, it is nowhere mentioned as they worshipped
Lord sri Rama,;   Reason is not known,.
But, this Kapi Dhwaja of Arjuna proves, that Mahabharatam  had happend only after Ramayanam.
Anjaneya, The commanderen chief of monkey faced army of Ramayana era, was also called KapiRaja.   That's why the flag with  Anjaneya's emblem is called Kapidhwaja.

"Atha vyavasthithandrustva dhartarastran kapidhvajaha
Pravrutthe shastrasampate dhanurudyamya pandava "

The above given 20th  sloka of Arjunavishada Yoga desides the puranakala of  Maha bharath,  as next to the Ramayana.
KapiRaja Anjaneya is been adored and worshipped since two Yugas, back to the present Kali Yuga.
The great archer Arjuna's chariot flag, explains so much about that era.

Vishnum, Jishnum,krishnam

Bhagavan Sri Krishna says in Rajavidya rajaguhya  yoga,

                  "  Mayaathathamidam sarvam jagadavyaktamurtyna
                    Mastani sarvabhuthani nachaham theshvavasthitaha"

"This entire universe is pervaded by Me, in an invisible manner, every thing is in Me, but, I don't
adhere to those entities."  At the same time, in Vibhuthi yoga, Sri Krishna says,

"Ahamatma Gudakesaha sarva bhutasayasthitaha". That means,  Sri Krishna has his presence everywhere in this vast universe, by a common name," Atma".That is why we acclaim him with a name ,Sri Krishna Paramatma.

In Vishnu sahasra namam, the very first sloka says, "Visvam Vishnuhu va shatkaro ".,which means, this entire universe is "Vishnu" only. Everywher, in everything, exists the presence of Vishnu.
Hence, Vishnu is the all pervading Viswatma,; but, in DWAPARA Yuga, the same Visvatma, incarnated as Krishna, with the help of Yoga Maya.

In Sanskrit, "V,"means Vistruthi. Vistruthi means expansion. What expands??
It is a giant electro magnetic field of tremendous power of attraction, with unimaginable  quantoms of Energy, which pocesses all faculties of human body and mind, and the nature of five elements ,along with consciousness , intelligence, knowledge,  and many many more devine mystic qualities, beyond human imagination. The invisible, indestructible, unchangiable, unexhaustable, infinite field of attraction which can take any form , with it's Atma Maya, had manifested as Srikrishna, in DWAPARA UGA , inorder to establish the righteousness by destroying the unbearable unrighteousness prevailed  in those days.
Unrighteousness of such a level,  which can bring even imbalance in the sustenance of the universe. Righteousness itself pocesses a high intensity of charge, which  maintains the Purity of Visvatma, by conditioning the energy levels.

Vishnu sustains this universe with an entity called Jeeva. That is why Jeeva is called Jishnum.

                            Mattaha paratharam nanyathu kinchidastu Dhananjaya
                             Mayi sarvamidamprotham suture maniganariva

"Nothing is greater than Me. O Dhananjaya, everything is suspended in me, as beeds in a chain. "This. Sloka clearly explains the highest nature of  Atma, which is holding all entities in this universe as a gigantic field of  Devine ultimate  power.

The great Devine Cosmic power , from which  this vast, ever expanding universe  Originates , is called, pRABHA Vishnu.
Prabhava means giving birth ,or , creating.
The same Supreme power, when destroys any thing of the universe, for  example, anyGalaxy, is called Grasishnu. So, the same Devine Supreme power, (Atma ) or Purusha, originates,  sustains and expands the universe with different  designations and with different names, and with different functions.

Vishnum is  Visvatma, the all pervading Devine.
Krishnam  is the incarnation  of Vishnu, in DWAPARA Yuga .
Jishnum  is a special entity, helps In sustaining the universe.

Buddhi yoga

Bhagavadgita  speaks about Brahma Vidya. That's why at the end of every chapter, it reiterates, the word " brahma vidyayam"," Yoga sasthre".To know Brahma Vidya, one has to become a Brahma yogi. But inorder to transform to a Brahma gnani, one has to sharpen his  intellect. ( Buddhi ).
How is this possible? This is possible by practicing Buddhi yoga, says Sri Krishna Paramatma, in 10th chapter,  Vibhuthi yoga.

                        Theasham  satatayuktanam bhajatemam preetipurvakam
                         Dadami "Buddhi yogam" tham mamupayantite

Those, who are always devoted to Me and worship Me with love, to those yogis, I grant
that "exceptional intellect", ( Buddhi yogam) by which they connect with Me. Here, the
tainted  intellect gets cleaned, and connects to That Supreme Ultimate Intelligence.
The process of this connectivity is given in the below slokam.

                           Teshamevanukampardamaham agnanajam tamaha
                            Nasayath  Atmabhavastho gnanadeepena bhasvatha.....Vibhuthi  yoga

When the vibrations of an individual embodied soul matches to the vibrations of  the Universal self, Which is commonly addressed as Visvatma, the entire darkness washes out by the Light of knowledge, abundantly granted by Me. This is what means--theshameva+
Anukampardam+Aham  means.
Here, the Jeevatma connects with Visvatma. Entire universe is full of vibrations,; different
frequencies  carry different faculties. Each faculty of knowledge has specific defined  Wave length. (My interpretation ). When your mind connects to any frequency of the Universal mind,  Buddhi yoga establishes. Afterwards what happens is what written above in the two slokas. Hence, practice Buddhi yoga, to attain the Brahma yoga.

Refine the intellect to realise the Devine.....Gitopadesam

Divine colours

Every spiritual aspirent, every Yogi, knows that the purpose of this human  birth is Realisation.  Realisation of That....... That Atma, which exists everywhere in this universe
Infinitely and   Unexhaustingly,; Realisation of That, which is an all pervading universal Mind,; which is an all pervading supreme consciousness; which manifests, though exists as an unmanifest. With
the same wish of Realisation, Arjuna too asked Lord Krishna, to show his all pervading unexhausting universal form of Atma. He says.......

                     " Yogeswara thato may darshayathmanamavyayam."

Then Lord responds to Arjuna like this......

" Pasya may Pardha rupani   Satasodha sahasrasaha
                          Nanavidhani divyani  nanavarnakrutheeni cha"

Pardha! See hundreds and thousands of Devine forms in different hues and shapes.
This above sloka clearly explains that the Devine figures are in thousands and lacks of variations.,and  thousands lacks of different shades of colours. They may be geometric forms, or structural forms, corresponding each to a definite colour shade. So, there are lacks and crores of godly forms with there assigned power and  duty. These Devine forms with designated duties help this entire universe to sustain its existance.

We worship few gods, like, Siva, Vishnu , Lakshmi, Durgaa, Saraswathi, Rama, Krishna...etc.
They are associated with specific colour.
Siva----White ( called gowra, hara)
Vishnu---cloud grey (Meghasyamam',)
Lakshmi-----Lotus pink (padmavarnam )
Durga-------Blood red. (-raktabham,)
Saraswathi ----Snow White (  sweta padmasana)
Rama---- blue( shamala tanum)
Krishna.----dark (neelamegha sareeram)

Lord says in all these colour associated Devine forms, his presence exists.
Hence, different hues carry different powers with there own impact.
Divinity lies in different  colours and there shades.
It can not be called a superstition,if somebody  attributes, one of the reasons of his success to any  perticular colour of his usable.
When Even,Gods carry a colour code, why not we,his children carry??
This is one sacred secret mentioned by Lord to Arjuna, in Gunatrayavibhagayoga.

Bahunam varnani , bahunam devani, bahunam manushyani. Sarvam  subham bhuyath.

Female power

                " Mathru devo Bhava"
"Pithru  devo Bhava " are the great, Vedic sayings.   We all know the meaning of it.
Mother and father are respected equal to God.
Mother is always given first reverence. Why?? Because, she alone can give birth to a new life.; she has the power of creation;  The priceless special gift given to a Female by Almighty is, this Power of creation. So, all Female are by birth, Empowered.  All female creatures of Almighty are  born empowered. Then, where the question of " empowering a female" by somebody else araises. All female are energy stores by default. This is very clearly mentioned in Gunatrayavibhagayoga, as said in the below given sloka. But, how much sanctity to be bestowed to behold this sacred gift of Devine, depends upon the value one attributes to that.

                           Sarvayonishu kowntheya murthayaha sambhavanthiya
Thasam brahma Mahadyoni raham, beejapradah pitha

"All living beings  are  born out of different wombs of different creatures; the Great nature is
the womb, I am simply the seed giving  father."

This is why Motherhood is considered as a sacred designation of any female.
When Devine blesses, a female becomes  mother.

              "Beejam  mam sarvabhuthanam ""

Says Lord in Rajavidyarajaguhya yoga. Seed of all living beings is That Paramatma only.
Human is simply instrumental.

                  "Ya Devi sarvabhuteshu Matrurupana samsthitha".

In all female beings, Devine resides in Motherly form, ie,  as Reproducing power.
That's why a female is born empowered, born energised.

Mahadbrahma

Entire universe is enveloped by  Atma,; that's why this Devine entity is called  Viswatma. This concept of Atma is explained through out
Bhagavad Gita with different interpretations. Sometimes named as  Mahadbrahmam, or Paramatma. The word "Para" means the "Ultimate." InGunatrayavibhagayoga,

                Mama yonirmahadbfahma  thasmin   Garbham dadamyaham
                Sambhavaha  sarvabhuthanam thatho bhavathi Bharata

Mahadbrahma ( Parabrahma) is the seed giving womb of this entire universe. The great characteristic of this birth giving nature, is similarly present in all wombs of all different
Female creatures. All living bodies take birth with the grace of Mahadbrahma only.
This is mentioned in the below written verse.

                     Sarvayonishu kowntheya murthayaha sambhavanthiyah
                      Thasam brahma Mahadyoniraham beejapradaha Pitha

The imperishable principle, which is running the entire show of this Universe is single.
Srusti, Sthithi, Laya (creation, construction and destruction )are all due to the expansion  and Contraction of all pervading infinite Devine power, Mahadbrahmam.
Parabrahmam is sometimes called as Mahadbrahmam in Gita. According to the context,
Mahadbrahmam is simply referred as Brahmam, because both vary only in the quantum  of
energy, possessing the same qualities. The Brahma and Parabrahma differ due to the energy
Potentialities.
The imperishable , indestructible, extraordinary devine power of the Ultimate goal, from which everything emerges, and into which everything merges,  is Mahadbrhmam.
Mahadbrhmam is the place ( kutastaha, achalam, dhruvam ) , from where the entire universe is controlled and commanded.
" Anandam Parabrahma yonihi". Says, Vishnusahasranamam, in its  Nyasam.
The main feature of Mahadbrahma is Anandam.  This Anandam is not the same ordinary happiness which we experience in routine. This Anandam is bliss, in its'excellence.
That happyness of Mahadbrahma is named Brahmanandam.
By Choosing any path of yoga, practicing it regularly with absolute dedication, will take him/her to the heights of Mahad Brahmanandam.

Mahamaha shakti, mahamaha gnapti, mahamaha buddhi, are different other characteristics
which help in creation and distruction and sustainance of this entire Universe.

Mahadbrahmaha  Parashaktayaha!
Mahadbrahmaha   Mahadyonishu!
Mahadbrahmaha   Parabrahmaha!

Yoga a tool to Realise the Devine.........Bhakti Yoga.

Love is nothing but immense attraction between two entities.
Similarly, immense faith associated  with dedication is called Devotion. [ Bhakti ]
Sraddha (dedication) is the soul of Bhakti.
Sraddha and Bhakti go as hand in gloves. When a spiritual aspirent directs his mind and intellect, totally towards the Almighty, and works, renouncing the fruits of all actions to That
Almighty only, he becomes selfless. This is the first step to climb the ladle of the path of
Devotion. In this Kali Yuga, Bhakti yoga is the easiest tool used, to realise God. This is a simplest tool, which anybody can adopt to enter the spiritual fields speedily. Bhakti towards any field of Knowledge, takes the Bhakta to the acme.

                    MAYYEVA manamaghasya mayibuddhim NIVESAYA
NIVASISHYATHI MAYYEVA, atha oordhvanasamsayaha......Bhakti yoga, 7th sloka

Remembering Almighty regularly, by any mode, with a contented  pure heart, will definitely, brings one into the  contact of Almighty. There are many types of practices, to contemplate on the all pervading Devine. Meditation, chanting, praying, worshipping, doing rituals, doing charitable services, etc etc etc ,different modes to express one's Bhakti. All these practices, change an egoistic person to a spiritual  person. Actually,  spiritual nature helps one to lead a peaceful life, but not a dull life. There is a misconception about spirituality that it may down one's spirits,; this is absolutely wrong. Instead, it enhances one's energies and boosts the spirits. When a person grows spiritually, starts dealing his life with a great composure. Composure comes by calming the mind. Calming the mind comes by orienting the intellect towards the Supreme mind. When one has an unswerving devotion to that which he believes as the Supreme Devine, he gets a link with That. Yes. Now, Devine Energy starts flowing from Cosmos. This is what "Nivashishyasi MAYYEVA " means.
At this stage yogi enters the arena of Cosmic canvas. Connection with Devine establishes.
"The very sence of Yoga  is connecting the simple self to that universal Self".

There were many bhaktas who realised and reached the Devine, by following this Bhakti marga.  { path of Devition }. There is no restriction for anybody to follow this Bhakti marga.,
Neither age, nor status comes in way, to stop anyone  inorder to connect to God. Our Puranas say, even animals too worshipped the  Lord and attained moksha. In Siva Puranam, an anecdote  explaines how an Elephant, a snake and a spider, worshipped Lord Siva. These two animals and the insect together used to bring flowers, leaves and water to offer the lingakara  Siva. Lord Siva, pleased by the overwhelmed devotion of those three creatures, blessed them with Moksha, which means " freedom fromthe cycle of births". This anecdote
is storied as "Kalahasthi mahatmyam" ,  and inspired many spiritual people to take up Bhakti marga as a tool to connect to God.
An elephant named  Gajendra, who was an ordent Bhakta of Lord Vishnu, was saved from the clutches of a crocodile and blessed with  Moksha. This is an anecdote in Bhagavatam., titled Gajendra Moksham. The supreme being God is  "Marga ha, Neyaha, Nayaha ". God, itself shows the way to reach That ultimate goal, if one has true Devotion. God will take care of ur welfare,; you just be a true devotee. The power of Bhakti is unexplainable. God, Himself
surrenders to the Devotee, when the levels of devotion stand par equal to the power of That
Ultimate Power.
When even animals attain beatitude by Bhakti marga, can't a human attain???Actually, this
human birth is very rare and prescious, and it is meant to attain Mukti [ moksha]. Though
we all know the true purpose of our life, we ignore it, and delay it to old age. Very comfortably, postpone the workout of this regime of Bhakti yoga, finally forget the purpose
totally. That's why Lord Sri Krishna warns Arjuna by saying,

                     Yasmatu  sarveshu kaleshu mamanusmara yuddhacha
Mayyarpitha Mano buddhiryo Mamevyshyastu NA SAMSAYAHA ....

"Fight with ur mind, fix ur mind and intellect on me, you will definitely live in me."
Lord Krishna, the manifestation of the Paramatma., the manifestation of all pervading Devine, advising us this path of Bhakti, as the simplest best tool to workout and Reach him.
Though, many spiritual tools like, Jap,thap, dhyana, yoga, samadhi, upasana guide one to achieve the same purpose, above all stands Bhakti marga as the best.

Bhakti is Anurakthi towards Devine. ( supreme power)
Bhakti is Asakthi towards rakthi.( sensual enjoyments )
Bhakti is  Sakthi for Mukthi.

Brahmanandam

Happyness is an emotion, that araises when we either acquire or achieve something. This is materialistic  happyness, which fades away as time passes. But,  that happyness which comes by shudding away worldly  enjoyments is called Brahmanandam. The first one is simply  Physical joy , where as the  second one is an everlasting spiritual bliss.

                 "Yo anthassukkho  anthararama  thad antharjothirevayaha
                  Labhathe Brahmanirvanam  Brahmabhuthodhigachchati"...Sanyasa yoga

When spiritual aspirent starts enjoying the Bliss caused by the Supreme Self dwelling inside,
his soul realises the presence of that Supreme soul.

In other words, Jeevatma  identifys itself with Paramatma which is residing in the body, since the beginning of birth.  This state of Mind,  caused because of Aleining with That Supreme Mind, is called Brahmi Sthiti. When one reaches Brahmi Sthiti, he/ she, enjoys a perticular kind of happyness beyond words, which can only be experienced. But, there is one special indication, which tells that he attained that Blissful state of Mind. ie... A Devine brightness, gloriously appears to the yogi. This brightness is not the same as that of the man made light.
An extraordinary brilliance, associated with euphoric happyness spreads in and around the
Yogi. When once, this Antarjyothi (inner inherent light) is felt, the yogi starts travel towards Brahmanirvana; he raises to the higher spiritual levels, transcending over the ephemeral levels of
the physical body.     This is what   " Brahmabhuthodhigachchati "    means.
Ok. How long  will it take, this entire travel  to reach the  Brahmanirvana????. No one can specifically define the duration of this  Brahma yoga, because period of spiritual travel varies from yogi to yogi, according to yogi's  prarabda, and yogi's karmic currents of earlier births.

How does  this Inner bliss  helps any yogi?  Inner bliss changes the realised yogi,  to an ever cheerful person, and  frees him from dual throngs. The nature of a nature dictated spirit changes to a Spiritual self, transcending all ephemeral  conditions of this primeval body.
Bliss and Brightness expound together, bringing sanctity to the existance itself.
This "Brahmanandam"  felt in the heart of the enlightened soul. That's it. A Feeling of
everything is in u, and u r everything, profounds the realised Yogi. Everything surrounding u
looks beautiful and serene. Once this Spiritual wealth is acquired, the rest all worldly possessions appear trivial. Unexhausting joy engulfs the Gnani.  An ordinary yogi, changes to brahmagnani. By birth we are all very simple, normal beings only. But, Practicing Yoga,  transforms  one to these heights.  So, "Yogastha kuru karmani ".

Be a Yogi. Be with yoga. Expand yourself.

Purpose of life

What is the purpose of life? This is a one common question, pestering every intellectual person, since ages. Why, this birth? Why all this worldly drama? What is my role in this drama? What is the use of life?  ...etc etc are the haunting questions, running in the back of everybody 's mind. But, they all refuse to accept the truth that life is designed, destined for only one spiritual purpose, ie...  Self  Realisation.  Actually, the reason for their wrong conception is, that they have lost in the game of making money.
They think, this  life is given to enjoy worldly pleasures; to earn wealth, not for any
spiritual purpose. But, Gita reiterates in every chapter, the life purpose, as God realisation.
Gita uses synanims like "Purushottama prapthi " or" Brahmanirvana"..for God Realisation.
Brahmanirvana gives "the freedom from the cycle of births and deaths. ie.(Punaravritthi)
Realisation of God means granting the vision of Supreme Devine being
This state of mind in which one realises the Devine, is called "Brahmi Sthiti."
How to acquire the Brahmi Sthiti?  This below given slokam guides us step by step.

That Buddhayaha, that Atma, thannista, thatparayanaha
Gathyanta punaravritthim, Gnana nirduuta Kalmashaha.   (Sanyasa yoga )

First step:: the aspirent should orient his intellect towards Paramatma ( God)
Second step:: the aspirent should practice the "contemplation on God"( dhyana )regularly
with desiplined mind ( Nista) with full faith and without fail.
By Practicing these two steps daily, one slowly sinks into the Spiritual mode of life, and this
systematic approach directs one towards Spiritual enlightenment. What suggested in the above given sloka is, no doubt, helps any aspirent to reach the heights of Spirituality.
But, first most, one has to accept this commandment as the Purpose of life.
Sweetness can be felt only after eating sugar! Similarly, spiritual happyness can be felt only
after practicing the exercise assiduously.

This Spiritual Practice washes away the sins carried on, from innumerable previous births.
The fire of Gnanam, generated by the regular Spiritual Practice, cleans the (kalmasham)Sins,
and prepares the aspirent to experience the Parabrahmam.
Relishing or refusing the sugar lies in one's own decision.

Once again, the same Bhagavanuvacha is repeated , ie...Cleaning the sins and Clearing the Mind.
Whether you are rich or poor, weather you are an Indian or non Indian matters not. The same commandment applies to everyone born, here on this Globe.

" Om bhoohu, bhuvaha, suvaha That Sath" is the Ultimate.
Attaining Ultimate goal is the soul Purpose of Life.

Brahma yoga

Happyness is the prime requisite of anybody 's life. Every one wants to keep sorrow a light year distance, inorder to lead a comfortable, happy life. But, without invitation comes problem along with sorrow. This is inevitable in anyone's life, because, cause and effect  are desided according to the Karmas done in previous births. No one has the knowledge of previous births, and his ledgers of sins and virtues.( pap & puny am ). So, if at any phase of life, sorrow stands before, we have to accept it as devines decession.; this is the best way of accepting sorrow and happyness with equanimity. This mind set, which helps one,to treat, pain and pleasure equally, is named "Samabuddhi", in Bhagavat Gita.

The Supreme Mind, Brahma, which envelopes the entire Universe, has no difference between pain or pleasure, likes or dislikes.

" Samam pasyanhi sarvathra samavasthithameeswaram "

Samabuddhi is the main nature of Brahma. Brahma is even and faultless.

" Nirdoshamhi Samam Brahma thasmath Brahmanitesthitaha." ......

One has to practice, this Sama-Alochana ( equal thinking), Sama drusti ,deliberately, without any bias. A lot of self controle, self discipline and impartiality is needed for practicing this state of Equanimity. This practice is named  Brahma Yoga in Gita.
Brahma yoga transforms one to a Brahma gnani. The knower of Brahma, who is established in Equanimity, acquires poised mind, feels no difference between elation or dipression.  Once, when adopted to this state of mind, one starts seeing all equal around him, feels no dualities, sees light equally in all creations.
In this state of mind, one attaches to the" Inner Bliss", than to the temporary external sensual  pleasure.  The poised mind starts identifying itself, with the mind of Brahma, and starts enjoying everything, whatsoever comes in  life.
This is what, exactly called  "Brahma yoga."

Sa Brahma yoga yuktatma sukhamakshayya-Masnuthe......Sanyasa yoga, 12th sloka.
..
Actually, this is what Gita, the "Brahma Vidya", preaches in every chapter.
Brahma yoga is the soul of Brahma Vidya.

After studying, analysing the essence of Bhagavad Gita, many times, one starts experiencing the behavioural changes, close to That, what I mentioned above,... Of Brahma.
Personality refinement, which changes an ordinary mind to an equanimous mind is, the
motive of Brahma yoga. The soul reason of Githopadesam is too, to change the Mindset of
Arjuna,; to prepare him for war,  in order to eradicate the evil. The  Divyagnanam granted by Lord Sri Krishna, inspired Arjuna,; hence he fought the Kurukshethra.

So, Who so ever wants a happy and  composed life, should practice this Brahma yoga.

"Om ethi  Sri Brahma vidyayam, Gitopanishat."

Peace of Mind (Santhi)

"Om santhi! Santhi! Santhi hi"      Is the closing  phrase  of each and every Veda Mantra.  What does this Santhi mean? Why , so much importance is given to this word  in every sacred scripture? Why  should one do need this Santhi?

Santi means Peace, peace means happyness. Santi comes to serene mind alone, serenity -to a Controlled mind alone. Controlled mind results from true Knowledge. True knowledge comes from dispassion and  non-egoistic attitude, and Meditation.
The same interpretation is said in this  sloka...........

                         "Vihayakaman yah sarvan pumamscharathi nispruhaha
Nirmamo nirahankaraha sa Santhi machirenadhi gacchathi.".....Sankhya yoga.

Detachment towards worldly things (like Mercury drop), devoid of the idea of ownership, takes anybody to the path of egofree mindset. This mindset makes him to attain peace.
Peace of mind alone can experience the happyness of worldly or spiritual happyness.

Gita never advises anybody to leave everything totally,; how can it be possible for anyone, to live saintly, while surrounded by so many distractions ? All worldly attractions are infact distractions only ,if given too much attachment. If, these sensual joys are restricted to the status of necessity , automatically one becomes detached with them,  being enjoyed.
This  attitude, this mind set, brings calmness to the mind, and one experiences Peace of mind, ie. Santhi

Not only a single person, even a country needs Santi. A country with serene atmosphere and
Law and peace can alone prosper.  Such a country is called a Peaceful country. People of
a Peaceful  country live happily.

How much worldly possessions may one acquire, happyness won't come without Santhi or
peace of mind. The only solution to live with Santhi, is to grow oneself to a
Self-disciplined person.

Peace is in Happyness.
Happyness  is in serene mind.
Serine mind rests in disciplined mind.
               Sarvejanassukhinobhavanthu.
May the world rest in Peace.
