Spiritual practices

Spiritual  practices are very very important in ones' daily life to fix mind on God.
Any practice should be persued  regularly, with consistency. There are many ways to
Follow to progress in the line of Spirituality.why? What is the necessity  to practice
Spiritual means??
Yes. Definetly , one must adopt some or the other way of Spirituality to experience peace of mind and Devine presence. Ultiimately , what everybody wants is, peaceof mind ,to lead their life happily.
Peace of mind comes only to calm and composed mind. Agitated minds cannot
Enjoy whatever they have. Agitated minds can not enter the spiritual arena.

Different spiritual practices are followed by different people, to realise the
Devine.  Temple services, services to humanity, puja ( worshipping  ), bhajan sankeethan, meditation, serving the saints & elderly persons, gnandaan etc etc are
Few of the some Spiritual  Practices.

Temple services, include organising the puja items, organising the puja, distributing the Prasad to the devotees, cleaning the puja items etc etc are all activities which indulge ones' mind in performing puja. Worshipping god daily, with Bhakti  takes one to the highest platform of Gods' realisation.;which ever deity may one worship, whichever  format may one adopt in worshipping ,that should be done with total faith and dedication. Then only , that worship materialises and helps the worshiper to realise God.

The Simplest  spiritual practice is, serving humanity without selfish motives, leads one close to God. Actions of a selfless mind  are equal to the Actions of God." Nirapeksha "is the sole
Essence of  spiritual persuits. A selfless mind resembles  The  Supreme Mind. So, a selfless
Persons' actions link him to Supreme mind, ie God. Helping educational institutions by donating
Funds to help the poor  students, donating the free  medical services to the needy, poor patients, are some services to humankind which can guide one towards attaining the bliss of
Supreme purity.

Participating in bhajan sankeethan , takes one to the state of  trance, which changes an ordinary mind to a blissful Mind. Usually bhajans include praising phrases of Lord in different forms.By singing the bhajans or by listening them one drives himself into the ocean of Devine
Blissfulness, which one can only experience , which cannot be explained. One thing we all have
to keep in our mind, In this spiritual world is its' invisible presence of  Divinity. Bhajan sankeethan  enhances Bhakti , Bhakti  directs one towards Lords' realisation . This is a very very Simple way to divert Ones' mind towards God...the supreme Bliss.

Serving the great souls like Saints, and great Gurus, who already realised God is, as good as
Serving God. Saints mind  resembles Devine mind, because of  its' pure nature in every aspect.
Saints and gurus think, act, and speak pure. They are selfless in every aspect of action.
Association with great souls lifts one to the heights of  spiritual acme.

Of course, GnAnadan (sharing the spiritual  knowledge ) is very pure form of  spiritual  practice.
Teaching what one knows about spirituality, Divinity is a great practice to move close to Gods'
nature, because God is all knowledge . Sharing knowledge , by teaching free of cost ,is truely
a simple spiritual practice because , it develops selfless attitude.

Nahi gnanena sadrusam pavithram iha vidyathE       ( Gita  )

Wherever is  selflessness, there is the presence of Devine.
Meditation is one of the highest form of spiritual persuits. Meditation cleans the mind.
Meditation conditions the mind and prepares it fit to realise God. It is ones' mind that perceives Gods' presence. For perceiving God, one should process pure mind, this state of  mind can be achieved only through Meditation. The Uninterepted contemplation on Lord
Is defined as Meditation. This is possible only to highly evolved souls. Though tough to practice, meditation is a sure shot method followed from ages to Self realisation.
In ancient times, meditation is called " Thapas". It is said that if anybody does Thapas
For three and a half days, continuously, without interruption , he will definetly attains
God realisation. These are very simple techniques for self realisation, but tough because, one needs absolute contemplating mind.
One thing, anybody has to mind is, any spiritual practice succeeds only when the aspirents' mind is pure and sincere. Purity is the pivotal point of any spiritual  activity.
Pure mind alone links one to the Supreme purity,
Pure mind alone  links one to the Supreme Consciousness,
Pure mind alone connects one to the All pervading Supreme Mind.
Every spiritual aspirant should think and act with pure, taintless Mind.

                              Ithi Bhagavanuvacha
